2

Local Grading Assessments

3

Itemized Excavation Pricing

4

Commercial-Grade Membrane Systems

Drainage board over the membrane channels water to the footing drain rather than letting pressure build against the wall.

Our Exterior Waterproofing Service Lineup

We don't run a one-size-fits-all playbook — every exterior waterproofing job starts from these core service components, adapted to what your property actually needs.

Foundation Excavation & Membrane Application

Drainage board over the membrane channels water down to the footing drain instead of pressing against the wall. This is the most thorough exterior fix available and typically carries the longest service life.

Footing Drain Installation & Repair

A footing drain intercepts groundwater at the base of the foundation and carries it away before it can build pressure against the wall.

Grading & Drainage Correction

Soil sloping toward the foundation sends every rainfall straight at your basement wall, regardless of how good the membrane below is.

Window Well Drainage Systems

We install well drains tied into the footing drain system with a clear cover to reduce debris.

Exterior Crack & Joint Sealing

Sealing from the exterior addresses hydrostatic pressure at the point of entry rather than relying solely on interior injection.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions York customers ask us before booking exterior waterproofing service.

How quickly can a crew start an exterior assessment in York, AL?+
Exterior assessments are typically scheduled within a few days given the scope of a full perimeter walk; active pooling is prioritized.
Do you provide upfront, flat-rate pricing?+
Yes, quotes are itemized by excavation footage and membrane material, in writing before any digging starts.
Why would I need exterior work if interior injection already stopped the leak?+
Interior injection manages symptoms at the wall's interior surface, but exterior waterproofing addresses the actual source — a longer-term fix when grading or membrane failure is the root cause.
How long does exterior waterproofing take?+
We'll give you a realistic project timeline during the written quote, including any landscaping restoration.
Will excavation damage my landscaping?+
Significant landscape features are discussed during the quote so there are no surprises.
Is exterior waterproofing covered by a warranty?+
Warranty terms are included in your written quote before excavation begins.
Do you need to remove my patio or deck to excavate?+
Where possible, we work around existing hardscape, but a patio or deck directly over the excavation zone may need temporary removal, which we'll explain clearly upfront.
How deep does the excavation typically go?+
Excavation runs down to the footing, which varies by home but is commonly four to eight feet depending on your foundation type and regional frost depth.

York is a city in Sumter County, Alabama, United States. Founded around 1838 after the merging of two communities, Old Anvil and New York Station, the latter a station on a stagecoach line. The rail came through in the 1850s and later, the "New" was dropped from York Station in 1861. With the discovery that another community in Alabama bore that name, the "Station" was dropped and York was formally incorporated on April 6, 1881. At the 2010 census the population was 2,538, down from 2,854 in 2000. From 1920 to 1980, it was the largest town in the county. Since 1990, it has been the second largest city behind the county seat of Livingston.
